A case for big, fat, juicy burgers

While charred smashed burgers have been all the rage in recent years, I swear by a big, fat, juicy burger. The kind you can only achieve with Sous Vide Mode in the Anova Precision™ Oven. Call me old fashioned, but the people that try these burgers always call them delicious.
 
The patties slowly absorb seasonings while they cook and they come out with a perfect medium-rare doneness from edge to edge. There’s no fumbling with sous vide bags, your time at the grill is at a minimum, and you actually get to enjoy your 4th of July cookout. 

Here’s how my family and I get it done:
  • Place 8 burgers on a tray and season with salt and pepper (and any  other desired seasonings).
  • Cook using Sous Vide Mode in the Anova Precision™ Oven at 127°F (53°C)  with 100% steam for 2 hours.
  • Grill each patty for 30 seconds on each side. Serve.
  • Get ready for the compliments to roll in.
