How would you describe your style of cooking?
I create easy vegan recipes that are healthy, family-friendly, and delicious. I try to make vegan food that’s enjoyable and delicious for everyone! I do a lot of baking and love making delicious vegan desserts.
How does the Anova Precision Oven improve this?
The Precision Oven is great. A lot of times, ovens “cook/bake” differently, and temperatures aren’t accurate. I love how precise the Anova Precision Oven is. Whether I’m baking a casserole, stuffed peppers, or donuts – the steam control, fan, and temperature settings allow the recipe to come out perfectly every time.
Any tips and tricks to share with the world about using the Oven?
Use the app! You can start preheating your oven from your phone which is super convenient! Also, this is the easiest way to steam veggies ever!
How has the Oven changed how you cook at home?
The Anova Precision Oven is something I wish everyone could have! When you’re following a recipe, there can be a lot of room for variance based on the type of oven you’re baking in. The Anova Precision Oven takes out a lot of that variance providing more consistency in cooking.
Do you think it has made a difference in how you cook?
Absolutely! I used to avoid steaming foods because it’s so easy to over-steam veggies. The Anova Precision Oven makes steaming everything easier! Steaming foods like vegetables preserves more nutrients than other forms of cooking, so I’d say it’s helped me get healthier!
What recipe in the app (not from you!) are you super interested in trying?
It’s so hard to pick just one!! I saw a recipe for french baguettes and they look unbelievable! I think I’ll try those soon.
