Sharee runs the cooking blog Savory Spicerack, what she calls a little blog with BIG flavor! She believes that cooking should never be boring, and dinner should always excite you!

“I find joy in exploring different cuisines. I don’t shy away from all of the spices and flavors the world has to offer! I believe every dish has a story, and because of this, I make it my purpose to explore and travel to experience new flavors, collect new knowledge and embrace these connections. How would you describe your style of cooking?

I find joy in exploring different cuisines. I don’t shy away from all of the spices and flavors the world has to offer! I believe every dish has a story, and because of this, I make it my purpose to explore and travel to experience new flavors, collect new knowledge and embrace these connections. I also love to up the ante on classic favorites to give them my own special twist.

How does the Anova Precision Oven improve this?

The Anova Precision Oven has greatly improved the quality and flavor of the meats I cook! Meats are super moist, tender and flavorful.

Any tips and tricks to share with the world about using the Oven?

Some dishes such as steamed cabbage or beans do not need as much broth or water as they would when cooking traditionally on a regular stove top because the steam and sous vide cooking options add steam and moisture creating the perfect balance you need to prevent drying out certain dishes.

How has the Oven changed how you cook at home?

I am able to adjust the oven temperature, and cooking times right from my phone, making it so convenient for me with my busy schedule.

Do you think it has made a difference in how you cook?

Yes, it definitely has made a difference in how I cook! I am able to use the sous vide cooking methods as well as additional steps such as searing with just one cooking gadget now. This is a super convenient for me.

What recipe in the app (not from you!) are you super interested in trying?

I am so excited to try Precious Nkeih’s Sheet Pan Pancakes for our next brunch! It looks so delicious and she is super sweet!
