"We replaced our 15 year old FoodSaver with the Anova Vacuum Sealer Pro. The vac pulse is an excellent and welcome feature. The seals seem solid, but will have to wait and see if the hold up during storage. Nice and small, would recommend (assuming the seals last)."

"When ordering this the shipping is listed as "fast" and "4-6 business days" which was a big selling point for me. However in reality it took 6 business days just for the dispatch alone, then the actual shipping itself is 9 business days. That's a total of 15 business days which is triple the time stated. I'm upset about the dishonesty. When emailing customer support they ignored me and have not replied. Reddit was right about Anova I should have listened."
"Stopped sealing properly after 8 weeks. Prior to this I had another vacuum sealer from the most common brand and popular known and I used it for over 15 years trouble free. Gave it to my daughter when the Anova arrived. Certainly not impressed with the quality build of the Anova."

I round up paying $15 to ship back a product that did not work properly and then I paid another $10 for a box since I had assumed product would work and I discarded the outside box. No one ever got back to me even though I called I sent emails and it went through Shop who also offered no customer service."
"Welcome to freezer burn. I used the Anova vacuum sealer with success for about 1 year. After that, and countless back and forth for warranty (or gaskets, repair, etc. ), I have given up. I do enjoy Anova products, which is why I went with this, but the seal didn't last, after doing all the troubleshooting. I'd avoid this one, fellow foodies."

"Upon arrival the unit did not work properly. Suction in the vacuum and seal mode was slow and weak and it did not evacuate all the air and stopped after a minute or so without sealing. I had to pay $14 to return the defective unit. I was notified that my return was received and the matter is closed. I'm not confident that a replacement is coming. I cannot recommend this product."
