Unacceptably Out of Stock for 6+ months

"The v1 Precision Oven has a massive design flaw, in that the water tank cracks from high heat. THREE tanks have cracked and flooded my counters in three years. (Two AFTER adding your after-market band-aid to it. ) Reaching out to customer service for my FOURTH cracked tank, I was told these were out of stock and they were "working hard to get more in quickly. " Working hard my a$$ -- it's been 6 months, no restock, and you can't even give me an update or expected date. I own the world's biggest, heaviest toaster, that I can't use for sous vide or steam at all. When you KNOW that you have a massive design flaw and that you'll need 10s of thousands of replacement elements for, it's criminal that you wouldn't make stocking these tanks your first priority. And on top of that, you want us to pay $71 to replace a part that you designed poorly?! I love the concept of this oven -- I love it when it works -- but it's been nothing but problems. I'm convinced you have no intention of restocking these tanks, hoping to drive people to buy v2. It puts a bad taste in my mouth, and this terrible customer service/inventory planning means I'll never invest in future versions. Truly a shame -- you've got a great concept, but your execution is missing the mark."

Major design flaw

"Waiting to see when (if) this comes back in stock. This will be my third tank and they will not cover the cost. It’s clearly a design flaw on their part and no one should have to purchase a replacement. The next one I get, if I can get one, I’m going to fabricate a thin shield between the oven and the tank. My guess is they always tested this with a full tank prior to production. This would have had the effect of essentially acting like a heat sink and dissipating the heat. Most of us don’t keep the tank full in practice because that’s a commercial level quantity of steam cooking."

water tank cracked, no way to replace or fix

"the original tank was poorly designed so it cracks from the heat, and then you can't get a replacement under warranty and there is no stock to buy one on your own. no ETA, and no other recourse. pretty disappointing"

Availability

"When will it be available again? I can’t fully use my APO without the water tank and the one I have it’s cracked."

Spare parts

"New tank and cover all good. and very happy. My issue is having my oven serviced here in Malaysia. I've been told there is no service center here, so I'm a little annoyed. I'm trying to purchase the 2. 0 oven but again ie Been told not available. I am a fan of avonva and would like a little more assistance Paul James"

Great oven when it works but not very durable

"Water tank cracked and water started running out on my kitchen top in addition, the temperature sensor goes haywire if you don't insert the rubber plug when you are cooking with steam but the plug stops working after a year or so and there is no way to replace it. I am still considering whether it is worth replacing the oven after just a couple of years"

Water tank fragile

"The water tank is very fragile with high temperatures and the plastic breaks. I bought it a month ago and it is already cracked."

Protective sleeve for the Nova water tank

"Customers should not have to purchase this protection, seeing as the problem is a manufacturer, designer issue. Therefore should be no charge for the fix!"
