I absolutely love my new Anova sous vide machine! At first glance I was a little unsure about the whole thing as it did not look like sous vide machines I have seen in the past but once I go it out of the box and clipped it to the pot, I saw that it is super easy to use and frees up time to do other things. My five-year-old looked in the pot once the carrots were in and asked me what I have to do now. I told him that the machine did the rest. We were both amazed by it. My first venture was a simple dish of sous vide curried carrots but I am confident that I will be coming up with a million things to cook in my wonderful new sous vide machine! Temperature: 183 F / 84 C Time: 45 minutes Ingredients:
  • 5 medium carrots, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • sea salt
  • pepper
Method: Preheat Anova immersion circulator to 183 F/ 84 C. Mix everything together and place in an airtight bag. Seal and cook for 45 minutes. Serve warm right from the bag. Carrots cooking
