Defective device and 0 customer service

"This isn't my first anova, I lived my previous one but left it behind in an international move due to voltage difference. I bought another one thinking I knew what I was getting and managed to get a defective machine. The temperature reading is incorrect so none of the functionality works because it doesn't register that it is heating or has reached the correct temp. I contacted support with no response twice and now it is past the period that I can request a replacement or refund. I previously loved my anova but will plan to purchase from a competitor now and will be out the cost of the machine."

It’s good

"This is the third one we have purchased, we’re still using our original one. It works great. The other two we’ve purchased were gifts to friends and family. I honestly don’t know what the new model does different than the original nano we have but they all work great. Very happy with purchase."

Terrible, terrible quality.

"For the time beeing I'm on my third device. The first broke (the panel just fell off) just after first use, the second one, the replacement for the first one was already broken when I got it delivered (the control panel fell of again). The third one that was delivered looks like it has been used. Even if Anova replaces the broken devices every time I can't say the experience is very good, the device is more fragile then an egg from a chicken with calcium deficiency. I'm pretty sure I will not recomend Anova to anybody and I think that this was my last purchase from the company. The only positive thing I can say is that the customer support is helpfull."
