"Just received my Anova vacuum sealer. Looking at the directions the printing is sooo small I cant read it. Attempted to call the company three times phone rang. Transferred to customer service. Dead air for one minute. Then a busy signal and disconnect. After three phone attempts and one email my patience has run out. Returning the product. If this is the typical service I will be receiving no thank you. So product is going back."

"When ordering this the shipping is listed as "fast" and "4-6 business days" which was a big selling point for me. However in reality it took 6 business days just for the dispatch alone, then the actual shipping itself is 9 business days. That's a total of 15 business days which is triple the time stated. I'm upset about the dishonesty. When emailing customer support they ignored me and have not replied. Reddit was right about Anova I should have listened."
"I have a FoodSaver that is pretty old but served us very well. It still operates, but we got the Anova in case something happen in the middle of our packing season. We just operate them side by side. Pros over FoodSaver: - It takes narrow bags - It's smaller (stockage) - No wait between seal (although, it's longer, I guess the cooling time is simply included to make us think it's faster. It is not, but it is better psychologically) Cons: - The rolls and cutter are inside the machine, so, when it seals, you can't prepare a bag for the next one. - It sometimes needs three hands to operate. . . The bags may roll and, if you cut your bag a bit too short, you just can't flatten to make sure there is no ripple and close the machine at the same time. - I like, on the Foodsaver, the little sound to tell me it's done. I think it's missing. - The place where the juice fall if there is any that come out is fix to the machine. In the FoodSaver, you can remove it to clean it better. But, it does the job super well. The seals is powerful and doesn't take too long to seal."
