"I received a defective mat. The edges of the mat aren't coated with silicone, resulting in fiberglass threads sticking out. These threads could get into your food. The replacement issue has been going on for three weeks now!!! and I don't see any end to it."

"This mat does what I expected it to—it prevents food from sticking to its cooking container and behaves similarly to parchment paper. The downside is that it seems to leave a noticeable silicone taste on food I've used it with. I wasn't sure if this silicone taste was normal, so I bought a Silpat mat to compare it. Surprisingly, the Silpat one did not have the same taste-transfer issue as this one. I don't think I'll be using this mat any longer."
