We're heads down building a unified Anova app that'll control all your devices, offer even more features, and give you easy access to the Anova #foodnerd community.
Your Anova devices let you make restaurant quality meals great right out of the box. Foodnerds use our apps to connect their devices and get started. Most eventually upgrade to premium but it’s not required to cook.
So whether you have a sous vide cooker, a combi oven, or both, just download the right app for your device to get started for free.

Do I need a subscription to use my Anova devices?
No. Your Anova devices work without a subscription. You can control temperature, time, and all cooking functions manually or through the free app features to get perfect results, every time.
Does Premium unlock advanced features in both apps?
Yes. While we work on a unified app experience, your premium subscription unlocks all features within the Sous Vide app, the Oven app, and the Precision Oven 2.0 onboard app (i.e., the touchscreen). New Anova Intelligence features currently on the roadmap will also be included with a premium subscription as they are released.
Can I cook without the app at all?
All Anova devices have manual controls except for the Mini sous vide cooker, which requires the app. That said, we recommend using the respective app with your device just to make things more convenient.
Do I need to upgrade to Premium in order to use either app?
No, you can use your Anova devices with a free account without having to upgrade.
What is Anova Intelligence?
This is our take on AI with the intent to learn your preferences and suggests optimal cook settings, recipes, and techniques based on what you're making. AI features are mainly available in our next-gen combi oven but we are constantly looking for ways to bring Anova Intelligence to all of our products and our upcoming unified mobile app experience.
What happens if I cancel Premium?
You keep all the free features. Your saved recipes stay in your account but you won't be able to access premium content or create new custom recipes.
