So far so good!
"I've only had the APO2 for a few weeks, but I'm loving it so far. Highlights so far are baking cookies with 20% humidity so they come out a bit more chewy, and being able do bagless sous vide on a piece of meat before putting it onto fan bake/broil (grill) to brown it off/convert the skin to crackling on a piece of pork - it's so good not having to clean the bags!!"

Very Disappointed with support
"Hello - The oven looks very promising however I have had nothing but trouble trying to get a defective part replaced since the item was shipped. I have not been able to use the oven without this part and I have been going on over a month to get this resolved with no support. I have escalated to better business bureau and my bank."

Best kitchen tool ever
"I love love love this oven. My daughter bought me this oven when it first came out. They were working the bugs out and were wonderful!! I needed to replace my oven I about 6 months as it quit working and anova was great. They replaced it with a new one and it was an updated version. Wonderful. Still have it years later. I loved it so much i gifted one to my daughter for christmas last year. She was remodeling her kitchen and was doing away with her microwave. This oven is the best. Reheats better than a microwave and food never tasted better. So easy to use great app for recipes. I use mine everyday!! It is a must have ."

Third replacement in under 6months dead on arrival
"It’s a very interesting product with no real competition on the market…but it is unfortunately also deeply unreliable. Anova (after much fighting) just replaced my oven for the third time in 6 months, and the latest unit I cannot pair to the app due to a Bluetooth error. Support takes days to respond and is not always constructive, replacement units can be out of stock for months, real troubleshooting and repairs are not possible, and lugging 80lbs boxes to UPS for returns is getting old fast. Purchase at your own risk."

Fantástico!
"This oven is unreal! I got the first v1 as soon as I could get it. I have not used the "real" oven since. This is just so much better. It heats up very quickly and the cooking options are unreal. I regularly bake sourdough French baguettes and they always come out unreal."

Not impressed
"I find this product to be overly complex and limited. the guides do not produce the doneness they all turn out "overcooked" results. the product takes too look in state changes to heat up. it is somewhat buggy. there have been several instances i have had to reboot the product or reinstall the app. the price performance of this product is low."

Unfortunately, this is an expensive toy.
"This is purely my opinion. This oven is greatly overpriced in Australia. It costs $1,400 USD in Australia. Shipping from China to Australia is $200 USD more than to the US. This is odd. I purchased the oven on July 1, 2026, for $2,000 AUD. Two weeks later, it was on sale for $400 AUD. I asked for a partial refund of this amount, considering I bought it less than two weeks ago. Unfortunately, I have not received any response. Anova promises a 100% money-back guarantee within 100 days. Technically, I can send them my oven and buy a new one for less. It looks like they are just waiting for the discounts to end to respond to me after that. Now about my impressions of the oven's capabilities. At least two things are great: the presence of steam and the ability to control the oven from a tablet in bed. . . But someone has to put the food in the oven. You should keep in mind that one of the important advantages of this oven, a multi-step recipe, is not available. Remote monitoring of the cooking process using a camera is not available. As a result, you won't be able to operate the stove without an assistant. You'll have to control the assistant over the phone. . . To use all the stove's features, Anova wants to hook you on a paid subscription. . . like a patient on medication. Do you understand my allegory? That is, $2,000 Australian for a stove is not enough for Anova; it would like another $20 annually. . . You might say this is a community with tips and recipes. But what does Anova have to do with this? You've already bought the stove; it's yours. In my opinion, all the functionality (not recipes and tips) should be available. You shouldn't have to subscribe to this. It's like buying a car but having to pay extra every month to clean the windows. If you don't like it. . . wipe it with a rag. Conclusion. I wouldn't buy this stove for $2,000 now. That's why I asked for at least a $400 refund. In my opinion, that would be fair. There's been no response from Anova, and it looks like there won't be one. And I also think their obligations are for the US and Canada. It's easier for Anova customers to get it there. It's very difficult for them in Australia. You can read my review of the defective silicone mat if it's published. I've been corresponding with Anova for three weeks now. No results."

Don’t count on any help from customer support!
"THE day that I opened the box and plugged it in the operating panel was stuck in the manual mode after attempting for two hours and 10 times of resetting and reloading and redoing and re-undoing and everything, it was still unsuccessful, connecting to the Internet and the screens that were demonstrated in the app did not match up with the screens on my panel. Attempting to reach this company and their support system is not good at all the worst ever I’ve experienced. I’m to the point where I’m gonna have to contact my credit card company to dispute this purchase because it’s just ridiculous. I tried to initiate a return online and their system rejected it."
